Dr. Jeff Poplarski of Amityville, has been our Sports Medicine Director from the inception of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K Run and Walk. Dr. Jeff’s team of health care professionals, including chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, athletic trainers, EMTs, paramedics and podiatrists, have treated over 20,000 runners since our first 5K run/walk in 2002.

Dr. Jeff’s leadership has ensured the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to be extremely confident in his dealing with the safety of all participating runners. His first-hand experience in running various sports medicine teams at sporting events, is evident during this annual event.  Dr. Jeff Poplarski has been such a wonderful inspiration and great help to us from day one and his dedication has honored the legacy of Stephen Siller, a man who has inspired others by his passion for life and his ability to love others selflessly.
