You may wonder, “ what is chiropractic for?” Many people experience chiropractic as a natural, drug-free way to get healthy. For example, a little boy who no longer suffers from ear infections may tell you: “Chiropractic is for my ears.” A young woman may tell you that chiropractic is for digestive problems, asthma, back or neck pain, colds, headache, sciatica, neurological problems, colic, bed-wetting and many more conditions to which the flesh is heir.
But it won’t be only talk of disease. People also visit their chiropractor for more energy, for improved sports performance, for feeling more alive, for better resistance to disease and to help ensure drug-free lives for themselves and their families.
What do chiropractors do? Chiropractors remove a serious interference in your life and health which prevent you from functioning at your best. Free of vertebral subluxations, you are more balanced with less stress on your nervous system and body structure. Free of vertebral subluxations, you can better tune in to your inner resources of life, health and healing. We welcome you to our chiropractic community. We will help you discover for yourself why so many people say, “Chiropractic brings out the best in me.”
The healing benefits of massage involve both the relaxation of the body and its positive effects on the mind. As tension is released, you feel better physically, emotionally and mentally. When your body relaxes, your mind relaxes as well.
Stimulating “pressure points” with massage triggers the release of endorphins, which are neuro chemicals that relieve pain. As a result, pain is blocked and the flow of blood and oxygen to the affected area is increased. This causes the muscle to relax and promotes healing.
Massage focuses on relieving pain and discomfort as well as on responding to tension before it develops into “dis-ease”, that is, before the constriction and imbalance can do further damage.
Massage enables the body to relax deeply. By relieving stress, it strengthens resistance to disease and promotes wellness.
Massage stimulates the lymphatic system and helps hasten the elimination of toxins from the body.
Massage increases flexibility and range of motion, reduces inflammation, and increases joint mobility and is used to relieve and even help prevent sports injuries.
Massage improves muscle tone and circulation and relieves neuromuscular problems.
Massage can help restore emotional balance by releasing the accumulated tension caused by repressed feelings.
As massage works a pressure point, the muscle tension yields to the pressure, enabling the fibers to elongate and relax, blood to flow freely, and toxins to be released and eliminated. Increased circulation also brings more oxygen and other nutrients to affected areas. This increase’s the body’s resistance to illness and promotes a longer, healthier, more vital life.

Acupuncture is believed to have originated in China thousands of years ago. It is based on the concept that Qi, or Vital Energy, flows rythmnically in man and nature. Acupuncture involves a complex system of diagnosis that views the person as a whole. Patterns of disharmony may be created due to disturbances in the person’s internal, external, emotional or environmental elements. The practice of acupuncture is based on the understanding that the entire body, it’s surface and interior, viscera and bowels are linked by an extensive network of channels which, when stimulated correctly, can address both the symptom and cause of disease.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of hair-thin needles into specific points along the Meridians (energy channels) that cross the body. As long as Qi flows freely through these Meridians health is maintained. When the flow of Qi is disturbed there is a disruption in health, resulting in pain, illness, disease, and the signs of aging. By stimulating specific points along the Meridians, Qi is regulated and health is restored.
Acupuncture is considered a safe, effective, and pain-free method of healthcare. Most patients find treatments very relaxing.
Facial Rejuvenation with Cosmetic Acupuncture. While not a replacement for surgery, Acupuncture facial rejuvenation is an excellent alternative. It is far less costly than cosmetic surgery and is safe, virtually painless, has no side effects or risk of disfigurement.
Unlike surgery that may have an extended recovery period with swelling and discoloration, there is no trauma from facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
While facial rejuvenation acupuncture cannot reshape one’s nose or chin, it is a more subtle rejuvenation that takes years off one’s face-safely and naturally while improving overall health.
